So I was out driving around on new years eve with a friend driving all over town just wasting gas. I was talking to him about how I cant ever find anyone to race around with. All the civics seem to stay hidden lol. So we make our way to the other side of town and we start heading down the road with the animal shelter on it. We call it animal road and its nice long and straight with a short bridge. Me and a couple of friends like to see who can go the fastest before they have to stop at the stop sign. so far I hold the record at a 115 mph. Keep in mind that normally I would never get that fast on in town roads but this one is out of the way of most traffic and is vary clear so no surprises. So we are cruising down the road and we notice this blue and white mustang just sitting in the animal shelter parking lot with his lights off. we keep on going but then I say. we should go back and see what hes up to. my friend agreed so we went around the block and when we started to head back toward the road we noticed a convoy of cars heading to the end of the road. We both had an idea of why the mustang was there now. for scoping the area for cops and traffic. so we follow them up and when we get to the start a supercharged regal was lining up with a 90s mustang GT so we stopped to get out and watch. the guy lined them up and made sure they were ready and threw his hands down. they both spinned like crazy. the regal stayed with the mustang but it couldnt get in front but it was a good fight. I was talking to the guys at the line and we got to the point were they asked if id like to face the Taurus. I said yes of course. So me and my friend got in and we lined up. I had my foot on the break and gas ready to launch and the guy threw his hands down. I had zero spin launch and was now flooring it. I had the lead by a car length but then I hit second and it was so slow. the Taurus caught up and we were now nose to nose as I was hitting third. we were nearing the end of the stretch were the stop sign was and A car was coming up on it so I had to slow down to get in the right lane. we ended the race at around 122 mph renewing my previous record on the road of 115 mph. I considered it a tie but because I let off first I had really lost but the thrill of it was amazing.

 

The new taurus's seem slow :/ big and bulky lol.
