RE: ~ Monte Carlo 1/4 miles Drag Times/Speed ~
I ran into a kid today at college that I used to race in my Honda. He nowhas a 05 Accord Coupe V-6 six speed. He showed me slips from the drag showing13.5 1/4 miles @ 107 MPH (He said he only had CAI/Exh/Prog)He said I could drive it, but I had to leave to work : (I plan to in the near future. When I got back home I researched the net & this is the only test I could findand it's a 2002 model Accord v6 6spd[:-]

My car's on there. I'm currently #43. Hope to be a lot quicker with my new cam. Can't wait for this weekend to kick the tires and light the fires.

RE: ~ Monte Carlo 1/4 miles Drag Times/Speed ~
My buddy Rob posted this on cardomain. This is basically a Stage 1 upgrade for the Supercharged cars.
WizAired Cold Air Intake (7/2/2004)
Hypertech 180* Thermostat (8/3/2004)
Intense Modular Pulley System - 3.4" SC Pulley (8/20/2004)
Autolite 104 Spark Plugs (8/20/2004)
ZZP Red Poly Motor Mounts (8/27/2004)
DHP v1.0 PCM (8/27/2004)
3"DP, High-Flow Cat, U-Bend and Resonator removal (10/13/2004)
ZZP WP UD Pulley (10/29/2004)
These modifications noticeably livened the performance of the car. The one that gave the most feel at the seat of the pants was the pulley swap to the 3.4". The boost jumped from 6-7psi to about 9psi on the stock gauge that reads up to 10psi.
On the last racing day of the season, I took the Monte to the track, and made sure I prepped the car well by removing the spare tire and jack from the trunk, and pumping up the rear tire pressure to 44psi. On the stock tires, I was able to launch pretty well off the line, and managed 13.836@101.01mph.
A few days later, I went to the same dyno shop for consistency's sake, and managed a 234whp/257wtq pull. That's a 40whp gain over stock for the mods listed above!

Space - Here's a ton of info on the 05 Honda Accords
http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/sp...&trimid=-1
A big key is they are between 3000 - 3250 lbs compared to the Monte being around 3400 - 3500.

RE: ~ Monte Carlo 1/4 miles Drag Times/Speed ~
I just got back from my local 1/8th mile track. It was my first time racing in a straight line. My best run was the last one. I had a nap at the light with a .226 R/T, 2.330 60 foot time and finshed with a 9.503@75.63 mph against a 92 5.0 GT. She is completly stock, so hopefully with a tuner I can get in the low 9's for an 1/8th mile track.

RE: ~ Monte Carlo 1/4 miles Drag Times/Speed ~
I've taken a couple Mustangs at the track. Almost had this one 5.0. I had him until he hit fourth and he slowly made his way past me. He got me by 1/2 a car length.
