Default Stock rear speakers for 00 SS

Looking for a set. Previous owner put in a set of Kenwood 6x9's and they sound "tinny". Hardly any bass so I want to put OE speakers back in it. I always thought GM had a great stock system.

my 2000SS has a pretty crappy stock system.

I've actually had to adjust the speakers to fade to the back more, and turn the bass up and the treble down

Or amp them... that's why they sound 'tinny'... very hard to get speakers to sound good off of like 10 watts rms and 2 ohm

Before replacing the speakers check the polarity of the wiring. I installed some Infinity speakers in the rear deck and at first they also sounded 'tinny' and lacked bass. Double checking my work I realized I wired one backwards (out of phase). I swapped the wires around and the speakers woke up. Bass response is much cleaner (not muddy) and the mid/highs are crystal clear.
