the seat will bolt right into the hole in the floor panel. it's just the connector are different. because the monte have 2 extra pins it won't plug into the smaller connector in the gtpee. the only thing i can see it will work is you have to find which wire go where and splice the wire together. it's been awhile and i can't remember at the top of my head but i think all the color wires are the same as the gtpee except the other 2 wires. i just remember my 04 monte have driver's side airbag on the side of the seat. don't quote me on this but i think one of the wire (green?) is for the airbag. im not sure if all the 00-03 have driver seat airbag too. sorry that about as much as i can help ya. i don't have the monte any more so i can't tell you awhole lot on the wire color im sure someone here can chime in what all the color wires on the monte. as you can see in the picture i only done the trial fit for the driver side seat and back seats. i never done the passenger side.

if your gtpee is 97-03 it's not going to work cuz the 00-05 monte seats fold down where as the gt-pee won't. you better off try to find the 04 plus gp or gxp seats to do the swap imo. here's what i found out during the seat swap to the monte. the gp used a hook like on the back where as the monte have 3-4 bolts on the back seat frame that told me right away it's not going to work. the gp seat is more fluffy and thicker than the monte. my head could almost touching the headliner. here's some pictures of the gp and monte back seats comparison.

 

thanks that helped a lot... ill stick to the front heated... cause i want two heated seats and my bro 03 mc ss is a lot more comfortable than my gp... ill either grab two more gp seats and put independent buckets or a cleann bench seat in the back..

 

what car did u get those 2 toned seats from? i need the exact seat for my 03 jg edition driver side??? like to buy one asap thanks....
