@Trewyn15 - Are you still looking for the 3400 STB? I was just at a junk yard and they have one on an Impala. Odds are, if I go back later, it will probably still be there.... It's the stock GM 3400 bar, and it had the altenator bump you mentioned.

Not sure what the price would be without going to pick it up. I'm guessing $20-$30 from the yard (they don't have anyone that answers the phone, just an automated system to give you yard hours)... Then it's just a matter of shipping cost.

 

Hmm, i don't want to make you go and get it and not want it if the price is too high for me, I really can't see spending over like $35 shipped for it since I can get it from moradparts for $40 shipped and i think he over prices quite a bit of his stuff. If you go back and get a price on it and you think you can ship it for less than $35 definitely let me know, but don't go back just for that hah, thanks tho!

 

I have yet to do business with Morad, but they are about 10 minutes from my work. I can't see being able to ship it for less then thouse guys. If I go back to that yard, I'll see what they want for it. If I can think I can meet your target, I'll nab it. If not, oh well....

 

For anyone looking to help, case closed on this one. I procured one from a local salvage yard and Trewyn15 and I worked out the details. Monday, this bad boy shall be shipped!
