ZZP Aluminum Trans Pan NEW, Don Rome Rear STB mounts, and some Spectre Couplers

Dropped the price to $140 Shipped. Pretty firm at that, as I'd prefer not to give it away. Otherwise I'll just keep it and use it the next time I'm due for a pan drop. And I will change out the gasket
LOL. I could see that some people would re-use the oem gasket as it does look a little more durable than the cheap one that came with my filter. My preference would be to replace something as aged as mine was, but it ultimately comes down to preference and how often you plan to change it out. I know I won't trust the cheap gasket I'm using for another 90k like the OEM, BUT I also plan to change the fluid out again long before another 90k rolls around. Just comes down to owners preference. If GM doesn't state that it's re-usable, then I would assume that to mean replace it. I would also agree to disagree on the topic though if anyone does think it's re-usable, totally fine with me

I just changed filter / fluid in my monte & wife's Impala SS an I didn't re-use the oem gasket , Because new fel-pro gasket was $21 after taxes.
why re-use the oem gasket and take a chance of it leaking .

Wayne, I will agree to disagree on the subject. I checked the shop book and it does not explicitly say to use a new gasket nor does it say to use the old one.
I personally will not advocate re-using a gasket that the manufacturer does not explicitly define as "re-usable", it just does not sound wise to me (especially when the filter typically comes with a new gasket). Not to mention, my experience is the rubber on the gasket shows signs of "age" when it comes off.
Again, not saying your wrong, just I don't feel comfortable with that method for my fleet.

I also have the factory service manuals for my 2004 MC and you are right, it doesn't specifically say the gasket is re-usable.
All I know is that the factory gasket is way better constructed than any gasket I have ever gotten in any transmission filter kit. I will continue to re-use my original gasket until it does look like it needs to be replaced and than I will spend the extra money and buy another factory gasket.

Was a sweet deal. Wish I was in a position to take advantage of it myself.
Good luck with the rest of your sale.
