I think perhaps this might be best hashed out in a PM between robknight13607 and Dam20735, as this back and forth has the potnetial to snow ball and get ugly.

If I might offer some suggestions (as I've been a seller and a buyer).
- Robknight13607 - Can you provide Dam20735 pictures of the damage to the item. Also include if there are signs of damage to the packaging materal.

- Dam20735 - Work with robknight13607 to obtain any pictures he can provide you. I'm making an assumption you shipped the item with insurance, if so, contact the shipping company once you receive pictures from robknight13607 confirming the item is the one you shipped and that the unit is damaged and begin opening a claim. If you did not ship with insurance, then it may be best to work out a refund option if robknight13607 can confirm the unit is the one you sent and it was damaged in the shipping process.

To anyone reading this, my experience (and best practice) with selling/shipping items has been:
- The seller should ship with insurance (unless the buyer declines).
- If the seller opts to not ship with insurance, then be prepared to offer a full refund to the buyer if something is damaged in transit or the item never arrives.
- Insured value, IMO should cover the entire cost of the item AND it's shipping cost (this way in the event of a loss, the insurance should re-imburse an amount so now one is out on the deal). If you wish, you can insure for a larger amount (such as a reasonable replacement cost of the part from eBay or a dealer).

Robknight13607 and Dam20735, I hope that you are both able to resolve this issue quickly and easily.
