Window tint fix?
Hello all!
I've decided to tint my own windows because I didn't want to pay a shop $250 for a professional to do it. Everything turned out very well, except a few things. I did the back window with the Gila back window kit. It's a whole bunch of little strips and you have to line them up. I got it pretty good, however theres some spaces that I can just lay some more tint over and it'll be fine, I think. What I'm really concerned about are the bubbles. I was wondering if I can just take a safety pin or something to them to pop the bubble, then push on it to push it to the glass? If I put a hole in the tint, is there anyway it might get worse at some point?
Also, I'll put up some pictures of how it turned out.
Thanks guys!

I wouldn't mess with the tint at all and make sure you don't poke a hole in the tint. When I took my car to get done, the techs told me don't touch the tint and leave the bubbles alone. Granted they were tiny bubbles. But they said if they didn't go away in a period of time then to bring it back and they would address the issue.
Looks good for a diy job though!

i dont think there's a whole lot you can do about the gaps, maybe get a 2 piece rear window kit and try that with the spaces reduced.

I am a pretty good window tinter when I want to be and gave up on rear windows. Either didn't tint them or had them tinted professionally. You could always peel that off and see what an installer would charge just for the rear. I think if they are bubbly or loose now, it will only get worse and look worse. It looks nappy when tint job goes bad.
