I'm not into "Hubcaps" either...aka dust covers....
Dont do that that much.... just ocasionally. haha

Hmm, only thing I can think of is maybe it's the brake components/pads you're using. I don't know, I never had an issue with brake dust on my 03 and I don't now on my 06.

Then i'd say I have the right idea whats happening.

As Matt mentioned:
Depending on the grade, style, type of pads etc....
Some do degrade faster than others...Thus producing more "dust" than other brands.

I would switch your brake pads to ceramic pads. They don't cause nearly as much brake dust. I used to have to wash my wheels once every few days to keep my wheels looking good and once I put ceramics on, I can go about a month before my wheels start looking horrible again. Also next time you clean your wheels put a coat of wax on them, just like you would your car. That will help make it easier to clean next time you wash your wheels.

Will definently consider that when I get the brakes done. They were brand new when I bought it.
