Wow, I had a flashback to my old IROC Z with T tops. Yea, they were cool, but eventually they leaked, rattled, etc.....

that hardest part of doing the roof skin is having to pull the glass front and rear, otherwise, it would be a easy (experianced POV) task, ive thought of it myself. they do make nice power sunroofs out there that lift in the rear and slide back, and the only reason they should leak is if they dont use enough roof tape. i put a after market sunroof from a 96 cavi on my 90 f150, didnt leak, and the shape was extremly off for the contour of the roof, the 4 corners were spots that 3/8" of water sat, so again, its all in who installs it more than the product.Note the sunroof was an experement, i had a new cab to put on.

i was thinking of pulling a sunroof from a monte in the junk yard too bcuz i dont like how the aftermarket sunroof sticks out the top of the car it looks aftermarket LoL! the rubber is alwayz 2 thick it probably can be done tho u just have to look around
