Default Strange but Vintage Idea

So my Dad and I were tossing around color idea's for the 1966 Chevelle, in the process we stumbled across some back shots and we started talking about some of the special thigns they did for SS cars back in the day. One thing was that on the Chevelles, and Camaros and some others is that they blacked out the rear protion between the tail lamps. I started thinking about how I could go for a vintage look by doing it to my Monte. Any thoughts?

Hi `Frost,
I would have to see the way you wanted to do it, b-4 I could
decide `if it looks good. But, that's what great about
every Monte owner is that they have the choice to make their Monte theirs, by their mod's.

THanks `Lucian for your PhotoShop post.....& your time/talent.
Hopefully some of our other talented PhotoShop member's
will share their talent & make some concepts for you also.

Look 4ward to reading what other member's post...
Good Luck & let us know what U decide

I did that on my 1st car, just after I bought it. It had some damage on the trunk lid from a snow plow, between the tail lights. Instead of painting it the factory aqua/blue color, I opted for matte black.
My 1st car? '64 Impala SS.

I guess this is what I was thinking of.. ( I would replace the badging and things I'm just bad at modding pictures) Either take it all the way up to the bow tie or do it just to the bottom to include the monte carlo script.

I like it without the Black, but it's not my Monte.
Let us know what you decide, and I look forward to see what other member's post & hopefully see some PhotoShop pic's
by our talented membership...
Thanks for posting/sharing your idea's....

i stole my curve idea from the 04impala i had. i tried the curve because the monte has curved bodylines. i personaly wouold do something that isnt perfectly strait because i dont think it flows, but as space mentions, everyone has their own ideas.

I think it looks out of place.
