those intimidator 3 wings look absolutely killer

 

They do look killer, and I'm surprised by the weight of it. Its twice as heavy as I would've expected... without it, the trunk springs all the way up on it's own when popped! no assistance required.

Any recommendations on how to fix the hole?

 

Love the Intimidator 3 spoiler. Chevy should've used that style spoiler on all the 6th gens. Gives the spoiler a less obvious bolt-on look.

 

No painting advise, but rather then seal underneath with body moulding tape I'd use clear silcone. Others may not agree. But clear silcone adheres and seals better, is flexible and easily removable. Best of all, its cheap! Don't use so much it squishes out the side and is visable.

A tiny bit of short strand fibreglass will fix the hole as good as new.
