New project car
hey everyone. My new project is putting a 400 sb with TPI in a 1980 Monte Carlo with a 700r4. Have body off frame and am cleaning and painting everything up. Is anyone else undergoing any big projects like this? Would like to know how things are working out. Thanks rshook

RE: New project car
well, im doing a project something like that, but mine, instead of restoring a car, im replacing things i break at the track. Im on my 2nd rearend and 3rd driveshaft. I cant say how many U-joints i broke. all i can say, i always got something to do and will never get bored... Good luck with your project, and cant wait to see pics...

Boost, Between your Monte and Camaro which do you like best. I'm trying to make up my mind i'm about to under go a massive project and trying to decide which to start with. I currently own a 89 S-10 2wd blazer i was going to drop my 383 into but decided to get other opinions than i was looking into an F-body camaro or trans am but was told that the uni body design will flex, etc, etc with lots of horse power. Now the monte SS is another option. Whats your thought on this. Currently the 383 is being assembled and should be dishing 525hp but we shall see.
Thanks for any advice you maybe able to give a new member
