When I bought my 87SS, both side mirror remotes were not fully functional. Took a look from the handle inside and found that they had a snapped cable or two, core of the problem why wounldnt function correctly. I had bought a used side mirror for the passenger side but didn't realize that it was from an 85 base model Monte Carlo. My question is can I gut the one with the good cable and swap it for the one with the bad? If someone doesn't realize, these are two different shape bases. Thanks for the help.
