Though 4th gen seems a bit on the narrow side compared to 2nd
Can the rears be swapped ?

My 1975 Monte has 70 some thousand miles on it and 100% stock other then 15x8 & 15x7 rally's I added a couple years back

What I want to do is take my ZZ383 700R4 and 3:73 rear and plant it in
my Granny looking car
I know motor and trans will sjip right in .. But how about the rear ?
My 86 Monte looks rough but very stout and fools lots of people when it launches ,, But i want to change my game and drive my first love (The 75)
and give her a new Heart ... since I was 17 I wanted to do this .. i'm now forty ,,, um .. 25 years anniversay of my 17th birthday : )
and yes the 86 will be parted out .. still usable stuff but really ratty looking .. Might hold on to the orginal 350 from the 75 ... just in case anyone would be wondering ...
