Rear View Mirror repair question

I am trying to re-attach the rear view mirror in my 2002 SS. However I cant seem to figure out how to detach the metal plate the glues directly to the glass. Any suggestions???

Should either b a spring clip, or an allen screw hidden under compass/onstar box
