Thanks guys!! It's currently sitting in the garage drying waiting for good weather. I checked up on it a little bit a go and it's drying well. No cracks or anything since I left it there

I figured I'd throw these pics up here too. I'm repainting the front bumper. There was some damage left behind when I removed the cracked grill insert, and also the clear coat is peeling. I've only made a little progress sanding but you get the idea. I would like this done before the RKsport goes on but painting weather in the future looks not so good

Sanded part

Not sanded

You're gonna have to custom make them. No one offers them for sale.

I got them from ebay. But they are the Morimoto Minis. TheRetrofitSource.com carries them.

Bi-xenon: Morimoto Mini H1 4.1 - HID Projectors from The Retrofit Source Inc

And hellzzz yeah. INCREDIBLE difference.

So I finally got around to working on this today since it has stopped raining every day.

I'm having a little trouble getting it to fit. I can't seem to get it wrapped around tight enough. Here's what it looks like. It's like this on both sides.

I've been pulling on it all night and it's just not going to stretch over. I put a screw in it anyway to try and hold it on as far as it will go for now. Any ideas?

I did a few weeks back and he said he had to take it to a body shop to install it because the kit was so warped out of shape it was a nightmare to install.

I made some more progress.. slowly....

I sanded the whole front bumper so it's ready for primer. I'm hoping to get it primed and painted tomorrow as the weather is looking pretty good.

I also decided to paint my reflectors/blinkers body color. They used to be blacked out. They haven't worked since I got the Monte and I hear they are a real pain to get working again. It has something to do with the switch and harness in the steering column going bad. No thanks. I blacked them out a few years ago, and now I think that body color will look cleaner.

The paint isn't a 'perfect match' like duplicolor claims, but it's pretty good. It seems a bit dark, but that could since I painted over black. If you stand back it's an unnoticeable difference
