This is going to be my thread for my front lip I'm going to be painting and installing. I got this on craigslist. It is red and has lots of scratches on the bottom so I am sanding it and painting it black. Watch here for updates

Nice find! That kit has the nicest front end for our 5th gens. You're going to love your Monte's new look

 

Should look great and that is just some minor scuffage under there. Remember it was there and try not to repeat the offense.

 

Can't wait to see it on! Going to give your Monte an awesome appearance (not that it isn't already awesome) with those rims

 

Yep, that air dam and the rims should really change the appearance of your car.

 

looks like you've gotten quite a bit of the scratches removed with just the sanding. That's IMO the worst part of painting . .. the stupid prep work

I agree.. I hate all of the other front kits that are available.

Haha I've already started planning on the routes around town I'm going to take/avoid and the gas stations with steep entrances I'll be avoiding

It's gonna be looking sweet with these two mods

Next up is spray some primer and then wet sand with 600 gritt. After that it's color and clear
