I thought I read in an earlier Post ... that the width of that nice looking RED Stripe all-around the bottom of that nice looking Monte was 3/4" (three quarters of an inch)?

In that case ...

Five Bucks and an eye for detail layin'-on the Stripe ought to do it ... huh???

I don't think electrical tape will work too well for that. It tends to lose its stickiness in hot weather and may start to pull off easily. You can get rolls of striping tape at any good auto paint supply store in widths from 1/16" to over 1" in just about any color you can imagine. I have done a lot of this in the past, on IROC-Z's that I've owned, using black and gold or silver stripe tape that cost less than $10.00 instead of $200.00 for the stripe kit, and it held up great. Your not that far away from me, so if you want some help I may be able to assist.
