Eff rear louvers! Leave that for the 2nd and 3rd gen F-bods.
And leave the side window ones for the Mustang crowd.
See if GTS will make a Monte Solarwing. That'd be ****!

I would deff get a set of the rear louvers if they were available...i think the side ones would be a little to much but the back would look nice.....let me know if they are ever made or anyone finds any

The problem I see with the rear window louvers is the large corner radii. That's going to be hard to deal with, and still get the trunk to open. Impossible? Probably not, but that's going to be an issue. The ones in the pic appear to be fastened to the body maybe?
How about those chrome flames for the side windows?

HAHA look at those side window flames.

They would look nice next to the fake fender vents and the chrome door handles and trim. Dont forget the chrome hood scoops, for extra downforce.

sixth gen with the race inspired spoiler from the rear and rear quarter view have simular lines to the boss stange / mach 1 "IMO" a bit smoother on the edges but the lines are there. louvers will look slick and the solar wing would look XXX'ss as you say on a mitsu-bishi or import where they belong

Wayne I'm still in the mock up stage amd the curve can be delt with with a lower profile overall and the same with the trunk lid issue...the lower three inches of the window is blocked out regardless..the production louvers on the early mustangs had clamp type hindges which fastens them to the body....most of the aftermarket louvers I've found are fastened with double sided tape.....3M double sided tape on glass is a strong bond so my plan is to make a lightweight frame that is bonded to the window then the louver assy will be a fixed to it by way of a C hook or hindge clasp on top and be held down at the bottom with a pin / clasp assy on either side.
keeping it hindged will allow quick removal or to lift it away to clean the window and it may also be an option for dealing with the trunk issue.
as far as scraping the window in snow, hopefully the monte's tucked away for the winter but otherwise the best would be to remove the louvers for the season and hope the defrost work.
These are all issues that can be worked around..Jarhead

Kind of ironic i was thinking about one of these earlier this week then searched for louver in a post and found this. I dont like how big it is on the mustang I believe the iroc camaros had the louver on the widows and they look better than that mustang. If i remember correctly.
