Taking shape. Still, a long way to go, and a lot of time sorting out the chassis. Just be patient. Once it's right you can have some real fun. I got in a hurry with a new rail and ended up crashing it. Launches, 330', 660', 1000', etc. Baby steps. Keep sending those pics.

Mine is being painted (prepped would be a better word). As you know it's 99% preparation. Hope to have it back in two weeks, but nothing firm on that yet. They sprayed some rust killer but I am not spending the money to have it all cut out. This one won't; be jacked up at shows with mirrors....lol. Sure am anxious to get it back.

Default Completion nearing

Hopefully next 30/45 days back to Utah to finish. Spring/summer ‘22 is expected time of delivery back to Michigan.

I was going to say March but didn't want to dampen your spirit. I think I get my MC back sooner....like before the end of the month. Street cars are so much easier these days for old guys....lol.

Default Street car

Gray ghost. I promised myself next project will be a strictly stock car. Something with 3 on a tree and I know you know what that is. Something between a ‘49 Ford and. ‘55 Chevy. 2 doors and in good enough shape to drive while I make it presentable. The Ford with a flat head and the ‘55 with a 265 cid. Then I will have completed my bucket list.

I was browsing facebook and saw a 50 Ford coupe for $3000. I couldn't believe it. That used to be THE hot car in the 60's with a flathead. Way back when I had a 57 Hardtop 210....really rare in a bad sort of way. Then a 55 post with a 6 and 3 speed....then a 55 two door wagon, with a 283, 2x4's (WCFBs) and a Borg Warner 4 speed. Finally ended up racing a 57 post, 283 .60 over, turbo 400 and 5:13s. Ran 12:70s amazingly. Went right from it to the 23T. So skipped the 11's, 10's and 9's.....

Default Finish line in sight.

Well my fabricator is on the move. Just sent a bundle of cash to pay for what’s done. A few more things to do. Gas tank. Parachute bracket wheelie bars and brackets. Tidy up the trunk a few tiny miscellaneous items and send in my final payment and hoping by the end of june it will be back on its way to Utah. This has been a bit slow with him getting sick the pandemic and California’s brown outs and wildfires but the workman ship is first class and I am pleased. Cant say I am excited enough just looking forward to getting it back soon There will probably be one more set of pictures before it leaves California. Coming soon!

Mine is done. Pics in another thread called - It's time to paint. Need to wait a few weeks and let it cure. Then we polish. Came out very nice. I am thrilled. I know you are anxious to get moving. Now all I am doing is cleaning, cleaning, cleaning....have to keep it nice for shows. Can't believe I have turned into one of those....lol. I see why people trailer them. Too much damn work keeping them clean, especially under the hood.
