You dont have to sand it off, I didnt sand mine, lol. I removed it, and placed it back on my car, its still a little darker than normal, but it looks perfect, and stupid bright still. You can remove VHT nightshade. Ill post a pic of before and after in a bit to show u.

I just bought Rustolem Lens Tint for my reverse lights. I'll let you all know how it works out. Was originally looking for VHT Nightshade though.

How did you get it off without wet sanding it?

This is what you'll need at first w/ water and I recommend doing it outside with a sprayer on a water hose.

Those had about ten coats maybe, even darker, so dark they blended in with my black mc. Here's the after pic, and they are even lighter now but still look factory.

I went sanded minimal just to get more off, but only cause I did this inside during the cold and couldn't go crAzy with the spray. But lighter coats should come right off. Stick to the gum out spray, it's the best

They came out pretty clean. Much better than I expected. I think I am going to just leave mine alone for now.
