Parking lot damage

my gf had the same thing except in the middle of the rear bumper, i buffed it out with rubbing compound and then touched it up with wax and scratch-x, cant even tell unless you get super close now

Wax and scratch-x wont cover it up if its down to the plastic. Simple fix, use some rubbing compound to get the scuffs from around the spot out and then touch it up with some paint. Best fix, have a body shop feather out the spot, primer it, blend the base and clear the entire cover.

ahh someone hit me in a parking lot and scratched my car, can i just pay 500 bucks and get 2500 for a paint job.

did i mention it was a hit and run?

that sucks man someone did that **** to me in the front, i probly have to do the same thing. it should cost around 200, maybe less to get it resprayed. the bumper that is.

I'll have to try the rubbing compound this weekend, I noticed a couple nicks in the passenger door too that should be able to be taken care of.

wax and scratch-x will help get the color back and help the scratches in the clear coat

I would say your best bet is to get the scuff marks out, and then go to the dealer and buy some proper touch up paint (it will be an exact match, and they might have to order it).
