Default Parking lot damage

Looks like someone over estimated their turning radius and clipped Monte.

Any suggestions on fixing this, the damage does all the way to the plastic

Ugh that sucks

Those tips look really nice

Idk what you should do, probably sand it up a little and repaint and clear,

you might be able to use a lil bit of filler on the spot where it dug in & blend the paint in that area & reclear it, if the damage has messed up that body line itll be a lil harder but it shoulnt be too bad u may beable to buff some of the white marks out & it may not be noticeable

Maybe I'll just get the entire thing resprayed the same blue as Mikes '03 that would take care of all the little stone chips in the hood.

Does insurance cover that kind of thing?

Insurance should cover it minus your collision deductible. Get an estimate and if it's more than the deductible get it fixed by a reputable body shop.

It wouldn't be worth going through insurance unless you have no deductible which is unheard of.

I'm really sorry to see something like that. I bet you'd have to get the whole thing repainted for it to really look right.

with that color blue i really dont think youll be able to tell too much if you buff out the white, you could probably touch it up pretty easily too

you might be able to have someone airbrush it in... i've seen it a bit on older restored cars, to cover up a belt buckle scratch or refurbish a few stone chips... see if anyone locally does aribrush work, and before you take the car to them i would hit the aerea with some fine- grit sandpaper to help smooth out the belmished aerea without taking off too much of the surounding paint that the new will blend into. the guy may scuff the aerea for you depending on who you have do it, and he may be able to take care of the stone chips too, without you spending $ on a whole new paintjob

Just get a decal and cover it up!

J/K, get some rubbing compound and some touch up paint and work on it. It won't disappear, but you can make it look a lot better for the time being.
