i think all red would look good. but it looks like you did a pretty good job for your first coat. look forward to more pics once you get all touched up

Thanks. I'll be sure to post pics when I fix er up!

Bama, two cans would be more than enough. I covered more ground on mine with just one, so you may not even need a second can if you're only doing the spokes.

I'm not normally a fan of blacked out stock Monte rims. But yours turned out well. I'd say fill in the bowties all red. The little bit of silver inside the bowtie looks awkward.

To be honest, I don't know if I would really worry about the plastidip standing up to scrubbing during cleaning. It's cheap enough. Just use the tire foam to clean it, and when it starts looking bad, just peal and re-apply.

I'm flattered, Taz! Thank you!

I let the BF pick the bowtie design. Gotten compliments on it already. Then some said all red. Others all black. So many options, and I do like them all The red paint is more difficult to remove so I have to be careful with what I do with it. I'll give it a few more days before I do anything else to it though, just to be sure

i'd say when you go to touch up just cover it all up then paint the bowtie right on the plastidip that way no worries just peal it off down the road if your not liking it pay day needs to come so i can go grab a can and start experimenting

looks like you did a pretty good job--also not a big fan of the silver. . . . i think all black with a red outline on the bowtie would look pretty nifty. as long as you like it that's all that matters

I kinda like the silver bowties. All black is too much black most of the time in my eyes. The sliver gives it some contrast. My .02

Wow. Everyone's saying different things now!

I've thought about each option a while and since I can't decide, myself, I'll go with majority rule. MCF tends to have some style. Go vote and help me out guys
