Painting wheels. What to use?

I want to spray my current wheels a flat black/very dark gray and I would like the paint to be durable but removable (spray paint remover, etc) if I don't like them. My reason being, I want to at least test how black wheels on my black Monte will look before I get my new set of tires and wheels. Photoshop and the online tools don't do much for me, it's just something I'd like to see for myself (and, admittedly, it gives me something to do...).

For those of you who've done this to your Monte, what did you use to paint them? Brand, color, etc. Thanks in advance.

Why dont you go to Tire rack and use their wheel simulator? you can see how a wheel will look on your car before you do any thing just choose a black wheel and the yr/model/color of your car.

I tried it. But like I said above, seeing a rendering online helps a little, but it won't capture the exact look of the whole car with it... basically, it just doesn't do a whole lot for me.

Man I don'r know how you would get the paint off if you don't like it

Use Plasti-dip. It's black and you can peel it off if you don't like it. Sprays on like spray paint.

Edit: Beat me to it bud!

I plasti dipped mine....then wait a few days for it to cure and you can spray paint over them. I did it and it came oput amazing. I went with a shinny black over the plasti.

That's a good idea. Then you can have any color you want and not just flat black. It still peals off as easy I assume?
