Very nice I like the matte black, I'm painting my cover black and red as well, glose black though. L36 Monte Carlo Engine Cover Decals heres a link to some decals a member sent me this link before but I cant remember who it was.

I don't have ANY color whatsoever on my stock 3.1L V6 cover, but thinking I might do full black cover and red "3100", you guys did an awesome job.

This is going to be one of my first mods. I am going to paint it black and silver with red outlines on the lettering. I use the paint pens for this. It takes a steady hand and patience.

What kind of paint do you use for painting the cover? Its plastic so i would be worried about it cracking when i take it off..

use engine paint so it can withstand the heat, it shouldn't crack if you do it right and it shouldn't bend when you pull it off the engine so you shouldn't have to worry about cracking

Sorry about jumping on this old thread but Wow she's a beauty thanks for the Idea's guys but I think I found a Winner for my LS4
