luke - that 2nd one looks AWESOME!! i like it with the red detailing instead of the whole thing red. makes it stand out more.

silver1, i havent decided yet. it'll be orange and black, but i still haven't decided exactly what to do with it. i'm getting the decals for the stripes; they and the 3800 and series II will be orange and the supercharged will be chrome, that's all i got so far.

Default Engine cover

I finally took pics of Silver's engine cover. I painted it with DupliColor red caliper paint.

Silver needs some silver mounts / dogbones / crossbars / STB / and some stainless steel radiator hose

Silver looks great! Very clean and well done.

I'm hoping some day to copy this theme.

Shesh I did a plain aluminum look with hand painted letters to match the exterior paint. I feel inadequate.

now what i would do is absolutely nuts but yall might like the idea.........
i was thinking a custom carbon fibre cover that would attach to the origional cover. i decided this would be a good idea becasue i would want a smooth finish and with the intake manifold "fakes" on the ls4 cover it would be a bitch to get all smooth.
then with the new cover sand it and throw some custom paint scheme on it. i would go with skulls and flames following off the front with SS steming the flames.

my two cents
