I need your opinions please! I just set up an appointment with a tint shop nearby, they asked if I wanted to get the tint strip across the windshield at the top (it'll cost an extra $20) What does everyone think? and does anyone have pics of it done on theirs? Let me know what you think and if it looks good/bad or too noticeable. Thanks!

i had 5% put on. well worth it. helps alot with the sun. mine is very large though just an FYI it might be illegal in some states

I have a 2002 PT Cruiser that I bought in 2003. I had the front windows tinted in 2003 so that the front windows matched the factory tint on the rear glass. I also had the top of the windshield done as well. I used the Llumar brand. My car never gets garaged so the Florida sun beats on it all the time. The paint has broken down. The tints still looks like new and so does the interior. Good investment. I'd do it again. I bought the cheap stuff at either Discount auto or at Autozone. I installed it on my 87 Dodge Diplomat. That crap has blistered and faded. It looks like crap. My 81 Monte Carlo also has the cheap stuff on it that was there when I bought it. Same effect as on the Diplomat. Gregg
