Hi, so i have a 2006 monte lt and have recently fallen in love with the stock mesh style grille for the SS model... Im pretty sure (mostly assuming based on photos) that the stock grille for the SS should fit my LT.

I have searched high and low to almost no avail for a pair of the upper and lower grille. However on ebay i have seen the mesh grille for an SS impala and have tried the best i could to detect any differences, the lower grille is clearly completely different but the upper grille looks exactly the same.

I have also checked GM parts web sites and i have called Chevy dealerships, for both parts im looking at a price way over 100 and i cant do that.

My first question is, will the impala upper grille fit my monte?
Whats my best bet of finding these parts for an affordable price, because i cant find them anywhere.

I saw one member has a monte with what appears to be the impala bumper cover... Looks sick!!! just sayin'

I have an Inpala LTZ front bumper on my Monte and I used the stock SS grille from my original bumper and it fit fine. You shouldn't have any trouble with fitment. GMPARTSDIRECT.COM has the mesh lower grill that you will need to complete the look. Good luck!

 

Hey MillermonteSS, exactly the person i mentioned! Thanks for the info. Makes me feel better now that i purchased a impala SS upper Grille now withought any prior knowledge as to if it would even fit!
