NEW SLP grille, what color??

Thanks for the hookup, I pulled the trigger on a new SLP grille on eBay after seeing a few pics on here installed.
My question being that I have seen two variations...one done in black on a red car, and one done in red on a red car (I use these analogies cuz I have a victory red '04 Dale Jr. Edition), which color do i choose? I'm leaning more towards a high gloss black because I think that would stand out a bit more, but the red gives it a smooth, clean look as well. I just want it to look clean and make it look like it was built that way from the factory. I also have considered having it taped off, and painting the grille red and the outer portion black, giving me the best fo both worlds...or, vice versa, black grille & a red outer trim...

im going to pull mine off and do a high gloss paint on it here in a few weeks, honestly i think the black makes it look more mean and noticeable, which is probably why your buying it

Precisely why i'm buying it... I have a SUPERCHARGED Monte Carlo, and I want it standing out from all the rest at EVERY angle!! If you could, can you please post some pics here of what you have done, if anyone who has an SLP grille sees and checks out this thread? I would greatly appreciate it....

for sale here? UGH! If I would have known that, I would have helped a fellow member out, and taking it off his hands!!! I got a good price on eBay, but I think a fellow MC member would have done me one better... live and learn... AGAIN!!
Indeed, I think that's the color sceme I'm going for... I know TAZ the administrator wants to do a black one, and posted up a pic of an LS with the front SLP grille in black and a lower SLP grille also in black on a red car...

I did mine in semi gloss both the upper and lower grille to match my tires and then got new a ss door badge and painted that if you look at my blazed album you will see what i did the sticker from 3800 (bow tie ) was not what i liked to me it looked cheap (my opinion)
question, I am replacing my fascia on my car and instead of using the default 'shield' emblem I wanna get this SLP grille. does it come in a primer color and you have to paint it what color you want (i want to paint mine white with a black 'mesh') and is the 'bowtie' separate on it? and finally is it held on with double sided tape? I take it you have to remove the 'shield' emblem (which will not be on my replacement fascia) before you attach this grille?

OK # 1 no you have to primer it #2 the bow-tie is separate like a sticker that you can put on after painting #3 Yes you pop your emblem (Monte badge) and it sticks on with emblem tape (the grille) #4 yes you pop it off you can look at my pictures and see how I did mine
