i have not tried a clay bar yet or the thing blazed SS suggested. those will be by next attempts for sure though.

goth kid. i am a little worried using a razor near my car at any time let alone on it. i may try that i guess i could always get it touched up if i mess up.

trewyn. that might have been my problem. i did not let it settle on there i just put some on there and started rubbing and scraping so i will try letting it sit on there and see how that goes.

thanks for all the help so far. i will let everyone know what works

take a picture of it. use a paint thinner as in solvent soak it a few times with a rag, it should come off no problem. use a clean rag and keep whiping it with the soaked rag and turning the rag to clean spots so you dont scratch the paint! dont let the solvent go on the window trim as it may dry it out.

Do you have access to a heat gun? I'd heat it up for a bit and see if it gets tacky. If it does, soak a rag with goo gone and hold the rag over the area for a while then try to rub it off. Repeat as needed.

this morning i took a hair dryer and some goo-gone to my car and after many frustrating attempts at no success, i took my car out to a few shops and to autozone. and apparently the genius who owned the car before me, decided it would be a good idea to super glue that emblem on. it probably fell off some how and he super glued it back on. and from what they told me, u have to sand it off then repaint it. and that is not worth the hassle for just that little emblem.

Thank you everyone for ur help.

i read that if you just let it soak in water also it will lose its form and fall apart.

could also try some gasoline
