it should look good with that led arrow behind it, but i almost don't feel like the monte's should have an led arrow, that seems to be more of a luxurious thing, but i'm not really sure, maybe that's just me ha
Maybe I should make some kind of "TAZ" that lights up instead of an arrow.. THAT would be AWESOME. I think I'm gonna look into that, maybe do an acid etch on the mirror and an LED (with defused lighting) to light it up, thanks for an idea that would be real cool... I'm in No hurry... the Mirrors will be painted BLACK this week end BTW.. I know they look like a sore thumb being RED on a black car, but before I put all the time into painting them, I wanted to make sure I got them to fit first. Now all I have to do is figure out the wiring, get new connectors from Radio Shack and BOOM , I'm done (I will have in the connectors the wires for the LED, or LEDs) thanks guys.... MJC

I like the look of them, but they are a bit tall for me.

Remember I can sand blast mirrors to make leds be able to shine through. Ive got an ss on one side, and bowtie on the other. Check the commercial posts

I still think they are too boxy for our cars, but congrats on getting the project completed!

You don't need to sand blast anything.... I simply cut an access window in the mirror backing plate (the plastic plate that attaches the mirror glass to the position motor assembly) to mount the LEDs behind the glass and they shine thru perfectly fine

I used the LED assemblies out of broken GMT800 (Tahoe/Suburban/Silverado) mirrors...

I was thinking about this last night, and began wondering if our Monte mirrors would improve the look of the similiar gen Grand Prix (like what the OP got his Grand Prix mirrors from).

Grand Prix mirrors aren't for me, but he is adding another item to make his car unique from the other Montes around. Interesting thought and something I bet few people ever looked into changing.
