The lights are turning out great! Did you have to use higher temp paint for the clearcoat? I know bulbs throw out some heat so im curious if you would need to go as far to do so.

Thanks Matt, Joey!

I used regular Dupli Color automotive clear acrylic enamel. Same clear coat I used on my sub box.

Makes sense, I have used that paint for numerous things and it seems to work pretty well. Now that I know they light housings dont fall into pieces when taking them apart, I am tempted to order another set and switch the connectors and clear them!

What a beautiful reward your getting for all your efforts. Good job! I would go with the clear lense one for my car. Add's a subtle bling factor. Either way they are very appealing.

Thanks Jen, Matt, and Greg! I think I'm also leaning toward the clear lens at this point. I'm not sure I'm doing anything with the connectors other than adding more sealant myself, where it's necessary, to be safe. Other than that I'll probably just go with what I have.

Got my headlights back together today (clear side reflector pair) and will test fit them on the car tomorrow. Pictures to come tomorrow as well. Still have yet to order my Stealth bulbs so these won't get installed for good until I get those.

Finished. Reinstalled was pretty simple but took some patience. Used the butyl rubber glue from TRS and also ran a bead of black silicone around just to be sure it was fully sealed. I still need to order the Stealth bulbs. It's hard to get good pics of these where the gloss black bezel is apparent because of the glare on the lens. Hopefully I can get better shots outside.

I'll post pictures of them installed on the car later today, however they won't get installed for good until my Stealth bulbs come.
