Default Light tint

I am considering tinting my headlingts and/or taillights. What would be better? Covers or light tint paint? I live in New York but couldnt find any laws against having it...does anyone know of any or possibly another way to get the same look?

I'd use the covers, that way you can always take the off to regain light output and also to change the look of your car whenever you want. It'll help when going to resell it too.

I'd have to agree, go with the covers. The only way I'd tint is if covers werent available and I'm almost positive they are on your year.
