Would this one fit?

I think I might actually have those instead of the 5 led ones. I will check tomorrow to see which one I have because I remember that it was a pretty tight fit with which ever one I actually have

I went to the junkyard last week and got another bulb assembly from a late 90s cavalier. The bulb housing is the exactly the same but the bulb plug / socket are different. No biggie though everything works.

I had the day off again today so I wanted to get this done while I had the time and while there is still no snow on the ground.

I cut out the bumper on either side of the existing bulb opening to clear the housing in their new positions. I traced the existing opening, made a template and traced that onto either side using the existing screw holes as reference points. Then just drilled a hole for the outer screws

Then I wired the 2nd bulb to the existing. Don't worry I used heat shrink connectors to splice connection and a heat shrinking tubing to seal it up. Electrical tape covers all that. You can see the original bulb assembly is on the left and the cavalier one is on the right

Nothing left to do but put it all back together. The idea was to make it look like it could be stock. I'll put up some nite pictures later

I checked today and I did buy the 15 led bulb instead of the 5 led one. It is a really tight fit and you kind of have to wiggle it around and position it just right inside the housing for it to work but it is bright
