ok, do the LED strips work better for the reverse camera or will the regular set-up work OK? I would also like to see the image that is sent to the monitor/stereo system that you both have set-up.....

sorry maybe be a stupid question, but I'm just a little behind the times on these reverse cameras/monitors but they seem pretty cool......

 

Nice upgrade brewcitymc! I am lookng into this myself. Mitch and Frank, is the LED wiring a hard this to do, I saw the cameras at the auto part store. I will be doing this!

We also have the same rear view cameras and head units , and they are night vision cameras so the image on the screen is pretty clear at night, at least for me it is I believe Mitch has led strips under his bumper for when his car is in reverse as well. Mine are just there to light up the plate area but they are pretty bright

 

Wiring isn't hard, it's just a positive and negative wire

 

If you get VTEC next, I'll know you're copying me

 

Ahhhhh yeah! I am gonna have to put a screen in my car for the camera! I am gonna go buy the led lights for my plate next month!
