LED bulb recommendation please
I have a 2007 Monte LT with the 3.5 V6 (flex fuel).
About 3 years ago I bought Anzo projector headlight assemblies for about $310 from Summit. My originals were scratched-faded- and just looked really bad. Now I've got a day-time running light/ low-beam that's gone out on the drivers side. I found out through internet research that these Anzo headlight assemblies have H1 and H3 bulbs.
I want to switch over to LED's.....Are there going to be problems doing so? I'm no electrician and hate dealing with wiring.
I want to take the Anzo's stocker type bulbs out, remove the screw-off dust cover, and install the new LED with the "element" vertically aligned. I've read aligning it vertically makes for a much better light beam instead of having the bulbs in horizontally, or however they line up when installed..
SO...who makes good/ bright white, long-lasting LED's? I've never bought any and don't mind spend up to $100 total for all four. 2 H1's and 2 H3's off Amazon. There are so many to choose from, I go by customer reviews and price, but a few require some wiring, and I DO NOT want that. I want simplicity, take out the old, and install the new LED's. Then button it all back up, and see how they work.
