just orded halo headlamps

For an 06 or 07 Monte "plug and play". Slide up on the white clip on the right side of the assembly (toward the middle of the car) remove the screw on top toward the left of the assembly (toward the fender) unplug the harness and do the reverse to install

The red and white wires on your new lights? Red is the hot wire for your halos white th ground. You have several choices. Do you want your halos on only when your Daytime lights are on or just when you have your headlamp on at night? White will go to the black ground wire on your new assembly. Red goes to the appropriate power lead on your new assembly depending on how you want your halos to function as I mentioned before

there is a white clip (slide) on the back side of each of your old headlamp units tward the front of the car. slide up on this clip
There is a screw on each of your old headlamp units on the back side right where the top of the fender meets the top of the headlamp ...remove it
Slide the unit out of the fender pulling towards the front of the car and un-plug the harness
You may have wires on your new unit from the halos, I believe you said one was white this is your ground, splice it into one of the black wires on your new unit.
The other wire is red you said, this is your hot wire splice that into you hot wire of your new unit (the hot wire going into your small LEDS that functions as a side marker, it should be red also, there may be two red wires you will just have to try one and see)
Plug in your new lights into your Light harness
You will notice a metal peg on the new unit toward the rear of the unit locate this peg into the slot on your fender just behind where your head lamps go
Slide the unit in slide the whit clip back on and replace the screw
Set up this way your halos will be on when just your parking lights are in, or when your headlamps are on
