Question Jeff Gordon Signature series 2003 Monte Carlo SS

Hey everyone, my financee just bought a 2003 Jeff Gordon Signature Series Monte Carlo SS shes the 3rd owner of this car bought it with little over 50k on the clock. Its awesome everything on it is perfect but something is missing, the Ghost Flames on the front end and number 24's and Jeff's signature on the sail panels are missing, does anyone know if this was optional on the car at the dealer. She bought it at Sunset Chevy in Sumner, WA. They said it was a trade in so i don't know if these were optional or standard on the car. I've read everything on the web about it, near as can tell these we standard for every Jeff Gordon car. So i don't know if it was repainted or if the two previous owners had them removed?? If anyone can offer info on this i'd be grateful, as we are thinking about restoring this car back to original, the interior hasn't been changed except for a Kenwood head unit, thats all.

All the decals on a special edition car DO NOT have to be installed by the dealer when you buy the car.

If the decals weren't put on, and they didn't come with the car it will be very expensive to get them from GM now.

Every Jeff Gordon Signature came with the ghost flame, yellow 24's and autograph badge. I know because I use to own one until I got t-boned. You are going to have a tough time finding the replacement parts. I knew of a guy in Orlando that took his badging off, but of course could not get the ghost flame off. Why buy the car?

Shortly after my father bought his (now mine) "24 car", he had it repainted. He had the ghost flames painted on the car. It cost him about $6000.

Painted on ghost flames.
