Default Intimidator badge question

Hi,

Can I get an opinion or two on the Intimidator badges for my 2004 Intimidator SS, number 1601? Had to take the girl to the shop and get some rust removed from the left rear wheel well. The body shop had to remove the badges. I found a complete set of the Intimidator badges on eBay, both quarter panels and the smaller one for the trunk, part 88980975. When I got the badges today I was kinda pissed when I got three quarter panel badges, part 88980973 or 74. If I keep all three badges and put the larger one on the trunk, if needed, do any of you think it's wrong to put the incorrect badge on? She's not a show car but she's my only car with 61,000 original miles and I'm her only owner. I like to keep things as OEM as possible. I don't plan on selling or trading for a long time. I'm pretty sure the guy on eBay is going to do an all or nothing return too. Am I being too particular?

Me personally, i'd rather get my hands on the correct badges, where'd the ones go that were taken off?

I'd say that if it bothers you enough to think about it, get oe badges from the dealership.

I have the original quarter panel badges. Me and the shop opted for new badges over putting the original one back on. I don't need the trunk badge yet. Thanks for the input, very helpful, as always.
