how to remove side molding adhesive without goo gone?

Default how to remove side molding adhesive without goo gone?

so i removed the weird looking side molding things going down the side of my car and now i have the sticky stuff removed except for the outline. ive tried everything except paint thinner and that would be a badddd idea lol. anyone have any ideas? i cant get any goo gone at the moment

You can use acetone. I used that when I was removing the double sided tap on my grill insert so I could paint it black. It worked awesome. You can get it anywhere, but do not spend too much time on one spot, because you will remove your clear coat if you do.

lol thats what i had to do to get the thick adhesive tape off. now im stuck with a tiny outline that wont come off for nothin. >_<

When I debadged my trunk it took the goof off, cleaning, cleaning again, polishing twice, and waxing to get the outlines gone.

I use this product, spray on then let sit for 2 minutes and then spray area once more and wait about 1 minute then power wash this off starting from the bottom and working upward. hope this helps.
