Just like the title implies: I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS (Jeff Gordon edition). And I want the flame decals taken off because they're faded, and have the flames painted on instead. But how much do you guys think that would cost?

I don't know if this helps or not, but it might give you a point of reference. I just had my whole car painted including painting the stripes instead of vinyl as they were, and I paid $5200. Painting the stripes raised my price only by a few hundred bucks.

You may be able to do them with plasti dip. I know around my area guys will paint your entire car with it for around 600 bucks. Not sure on the durability of the product but some people paint their rims with it and have great results.

I've learned in life that you seem to get what you pay for

I think the cost would vary depending on the shop & the expertise of the artist/painter that does this type of custom work.

I suggest checking with your local custom paint shops or clubs & search out the best in this area.

I know a few member's have had custom paint work & I hope they see your thread & contribute. Keep us updated...Good Luck

Honestly, you are best going to local body shops and getting quotes. I'm sure you can find someone willing to do it for any price, but the work may or may not be good.
