7th Gen ('06-'07): Hood Release Cable Replacement
I've recently repaired the front end of my car after an accident. Since then I've replaced the front bumper, reinforcement, hood and painted everything.
Well, I ended up adding fog lights and the SS grilles to my '06 LT. Last thing I need to do is replace the hood release cable before I drop in the new grille. Does anyone have any pointers on an easy way to do this? I've started working from the inside of the car and I seem to get stuck on something. So, I've stuck a metal rod through the firewall but I can't see where it comes out in the engine bay. Afterwards, I went a purchased a Haynes repair manual and it's useless on this step.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
