Default HID help

It's time to spend some more money on the ol Monte and I'm gonna go after some HID lighting. I want to do both my low beams and fogs, and I think I want the 8000k bulbs (slight blue tint). However, when I go to any website to find out exactly what I want, they always offer upgrading to digital slim balasts for $10-$20, and the same for adding a wire relay harness. Do I really need these? Any information on the best place to order? I'd appreciate the help!

Slim balast are just smaller and easier to mount, i would sugest the relay harness, pulls power directly from the bat

Reg ballasts are fine to use i dont see the use in spending the extra money, & relay harnesses are cheaper on ebay about $7 instead of $20 so go there for a harness

I went to ddmtuning.com and have the 8k for both low/fogs. I didnt order any extra parts. 35w and about 90 for both and been running good for more than 2 years.
