Here's what you should know:

Putting HIDs in a retrofit (non-projector lens) is illegal. They don't make projectors for the 6th Gen Monte.

Just cause they're brighter doesn't mean they're better... Take a look.

Ive seen peoples with hids and bright as hell and illuminate the road better than the stock stuff i have . Maybe i should go with silverstar ultras and then the kit that keeps the hi and low on at the same time .

I still want info from people with them about the hids and what to get and what to do .

So it's OK to blind other people as long as you can see better?

You're saying my plate filler is illegal? :O... oh well.
I wish i had more info to get you other than the "no info" i've provided.
Just keep looking, you'll find some eventually.

I have them installed and like MANY other posts suggest if you AIM them correctly you will not have a problem. I have had mine installed for about 4 months now and have driven past many cops and other cars with no issues. I LOVE the light output you can see WAY better at night. Anyone who says the Silver Star Ultras are better has not had a HID kit installed period. You do not have a projector headlight the light is not focused but with adjustment you will be fine. Honestly I would look on Ebay.com or ZZP has a kit also. The ZZP kit is not a Slim kit like you can find on Ebay though. I would search for "HID Slim ballasts" on Ebay and you should come up with some decent kits for around $99. Only thing I suggest is when aiming the headlights you need to aim lower than you would for regular bulbs which you would aim level with the actual headlight. Any other Q's let me know.
