Default Front License Plate removal?

I've been pretty busy lately, so I haven't had a chance to remove my front license plate yet. What type of screws do I have holding my front license plate to the car? I've never seen these before. Will I have to drill them out and if so why size drill bit?

Those are called rivets.

You'll have to buy a special bit that you drill into that, then you flip it around and it can grab the rivet and pop it out. Then you will have holes in your bumper.

Rivets! Yes that's what I meant. I was hoping I wouldn't have to drill but yeah not looking forward to holes in my bumper.

Yep, I took the 2 rivets off my g/f's Impala and she had 2 holes in her bumper.

What I did was buy 2 plastic nubs and it just looks like little black bumper things to help from getting scratches. Better than nothing until it can get fixed
