Default Rewiring my Fog Lights

Im trying to re-wire my fog lights so they are on during the day with my DRLs and on at night with my headlights. basically any time the car is on without needing to press the switch. Has anyone ever done this and if so im looking for the easiest way to do this without cutting or destroying any of the pre-existing wiring.

Any suggestion? Thanks

if you dont want to touch the pre-existing wire really i think your out of luck.

if your not running HIDs you can probably just splice into the low beam wire, two standard bulbs shouldnt be too much power needed to melt the wires

I have mine powered by the park lights on the side, along with my led strips. No issues there so far. You should be ok splicing into any of them unless you have HIDs.

i dont have HIDs but i dont think the parking lights are on all the time so the fog lights would only be on when i have the light switch on the parking lights if im not mistaken

Check the fuse box under the hood for a constant power that does not use a switch to operate such as headlight or DRL. Make sure the amps is sufficient since it can melt wires and cause fire.

Oh yea you want them on in the day too. That wont be too easy since the DRLs only supply half power. I would suggest what montecarl007 said, then just switch off from a constant source so its on full time.
