I'm trying to replace the emblem on the front of my 2004 monte, but I'm having some trouble removing the original. Does anyone know if theres a screw holding it in place?

 

It should just have a post and be stuck down with double sided tape I think.

 

It's not hard Iam going to replace my emblem. take a hair dryer or heat gun. heat up the emblem going up and down.Iam going to use fishing line between the emblem and front bumper. and work the emblem off after it is removed from the survice. i'll wipe off the old glue with a soft cloth Wd40 or ever else that remove glue. and just peel off the tape from the new emblem GM#1028968. and place it back on to the front bumper. and it will look great! some people use dental floss instead of fishing line either one will do the job.
