fog lights
I just bought some DEPO brand OEM style fog lights like the ones on the SS model from go-part.com for my 2002 LS 3.4. I have never actually seen how they are attached to the inside of an SS bumper so I'm confused on how to put them in. I cut the hole covers out of my LS bumper first. The top screw hole already in the bumper lined up with the hole on the top of the fog light bracket so I put a screw in it but that's the only thing holding it in. There are two little tabs inside the bottom of the bumper that line up with the bottom of the fog light bracket but they don't actually secure the fog light and they rattle so bad I can't stand to turn them on and they weren't exactly cheap to order, just for fog lights any way lol, not to mention the cost of materials to make my own wiring harness. Any tips out there SSers?

There's little tabs on the inside of the bumper that go through the holes on the bracket itself. Then you need to tighten the screw all the way and you should be good as long as the tabs are lined up and the screw is tightened completely

Well they do line up and look fine in the bumper but the tabs are smaller than the holes so the beams flutter real bad while driving at night so I'm thinking about getting some type of glue or adhesive or something to hold them still lol. I just don't want them to look rigged up ya know.

Not to sound like a cheap rigged fix, but my stepdad put some in my moms 2000 a few years ago like you are and he caulked and sealed them on place. It worked. Pretty much what youa re thinking of anyways.
